Have you ever sent someone a hot picture of you without being asked? You are not alone. Everyone wants to sell themselves well in dating apps and single platforms. So why not show off your body?
If you send a sexy picture of yourself, you’re already in the middle of sexting – a word combination of sex and texting. In other words, it’s an erotic chat.
This type of chat is legal – as long as everyone involved is at least 14 years old. And yes, most men are probably happy when a single lady sends them a picture of herself in a bikini. On the other hand, men are of course allowed to send a topless photo. Why not! Permitted is what both like.
WHAT PLEASES BOTH. That is the point. Sexting is the CONFIDENTIAL exchange of sexy photos and messages. What this does not include is sending dickpics! We’ll get to that later.
What does sexting look like?
Erotic chatting can have many faces. Hot pictures in a bikini, a fiery conversation, the exchange of intimate fantasies or a snapshot in which you show yourself almost naked. That’s okay if the recipient agrees to it. But always think about the consequences.
You should not send erotic pictures to anyone who could then spread the photos. What happens more and more often is that ex-lovers send on intimate photos of their former partner, show them around at school or upload them to dirty portals.
Of course, you can never be sure what will happen to the hot pics at some point. Even the greatest love can break. But you can take precautions! If you want to show yourself half-naked or naked on pictures, make your face unrecognizable. And make sure that no specific features, such as tattoos or scars, are visible in the picture.
The thing about dickpics…
Sending dickpics is not okay. Sexting is characterized by consensuality. But let’s be honest: how many women who received a dickpic via a dating portal really asked for it? Exactly, almost none.
The sight of the picture is more disturbing than seductive. Or are there really women who, after receiving such a photo, write to the guy, “Wow, that makes me hot for you.” That will probably be the glaring exception!
Means for men who send their eggplant as a photo without being asked: You impress no woman with it.
And it becomes still more violent for the Dickpic senders: Who sends such a photo unasked, can be occupied with up to one year imprisonment or with a fine.
Score with charm
Instead of sending out unsolicited pictures of your best assets – and then getting rejected anyway – you can score points on dating apps and singles exchanges primarily with charm. Stand out from the crowd by adding a meaningful bio to your profile. This should reveal a lot about you. But it should also leave open questions that will spark the beginning of a chat.
Also, spice up your flirting profile with various photos of yourself. A close facial shot, a full body picture, a snapshot of you pursuing your hobby, … Diversity is trumps. And helps other singles on a dating platform to get a first picture of you.
